In 2021, Hamzah Nasser set out on a mission to bring a unique coffee experience to life by opening the first Haraz Coffee House in Dearborn, Michigan. Guided by his vision of sharing Yemeni coffee culture and heritage, Hamzah introduced a concept that quickly resonated with coffee lovers.
Since its humble beginnings, Haraz Coffee House has grown to 31 locations across metro Detroit and other cities with 185 in the pipeline, becoming a symbol of authenticity and excellence in the coffee industry. By blending rich traditions with modern tastes, Hamzah has created a space where culture and community thrive. Holy Grain Coffee Shop was not created by investors, a corporation, or a business plan. It started with a mother and a daughter trying to build a stable life in a new country. We've recently opened up shop in charming downtown Winter Garden, so in addition to our pop-ups around the city, you can now indulge in your favorite coffee beverages daily. Hi! I’m Chris, the roaster and owner of Ligature Coffee. It was dreamed up during my many years behind the bar as a barista and in the kitchen messing around with roasting on my stove. In fact, it is one of the very few coffee companies in Orlando and Central Florida that was started by a person actually working in coffee. My core focus for Ligature was to create a company where I could highlight amazing, delicious, modern coffees, all while championing the stories and identities of the people behind the coffee, the coffee producers themselves. My goal is to use Ligature as a platform for all of us to learn more about coffee, and how we can make this industry more equitable for all. I’ve learned a lot along the way, and I am hoping there are many more coffees and lessons to come. I am hoping with Ligature we can tie together our love for coffee with our humanity and a desire for things to be better. Ligature isn’t a huge company, but we want to create something special and unique and hope you join us along the way.
