KOSELIG, or “KOS” is a Norwegian word that loosely translates to coziness. It’s about being content, connected, and around those you love. We chose the name because it embraces our Norwegian heritage and embodies the feeling we strive for. KOS is a full service coffee company, encompassing a Cafe, Roastery, and Espresso Equipment & Service Division. Our goal is to be a one-stop solution for our customers, providing them with amazing Single Origin, Transparency driven coffees, barista training/education, and cost effective equipment sales and service. We are a Social Enterprise organization, on the path to obtaining our B-Corp Certification. We value people over profits and feel that Specialty Coffee should be more approachable. We believe in sourcing transparency driven coffees and paying higher than fair wages to the farmers we partner with. We feel that it’s our responsibility to be on the forefront of sustainability within our industry.

What does KOS mean?
KOS takes its name from the Norwegian word "Koselig," a feeling of warmth, comfort, and togetherness. Inspired by their Norwegian heritage, the founders created KOS as a place where great coffee, quality food, and genuine hospitality encourage people to slow down and connect with one another.
Which coffees can you choose from?
KOS offers a diverse selection of freshly roasted coffees, including signature blends, single-origin coffees, espresso roasts, flavored varieties, Swiss Water® decaffeinated coffee, and organically grown options. Customers can order whole bean or ground coffee and enjoy many of these selections through one-time purchases or recurring coffee subscriptions.
What makes the coffee unique?
Every batch is roasted weekly to ensure maximum freshness before being packaged and shipped. The company uses organically grown, Fair Trade and Direct Trade certified coffees that are roasted in a USDA Certified Organic roasting facility, reflecting its commitment to quality and responsible sourcing.
Does KOS support coffee businesses and home coffee lovers?
Yes. Through its wholesale program, KOS supports businesses with freshly roasted coffee, café consulting, menu development, barista training, discounted equipment, and professional espresso machine sales and servicing for many leading brands. For home coffee enthusiasts, the company also offers coffee subscriptions, making it easy to enjoy freshly roasted coffee delivered on a recurring schedule.
How does every purchase make a difference?
Giving back is a core part of the company's mission. KOS donates 10% of its profits to nonprofit organizations, allowing customers to support meaningful causes while enjoying specialty coffee and other thoughtfully selected products.
