Lobos began with Tony Villalobos and Pablo, who met at age 13 through the Civil Air Patrol in Miami while sharing a passion for helping their community. Years later, Tony wanted to continue his family's legacy in the coffee industry, and Pablo joined him in turning that idea into reality. Their partnership became the foundation for Lobos Coffee Roasters.
Coffee is sourced from farms in countries around the world, with an emphasis on building long-lasting and fair relationships with producers. The beans are then roasted locally in Orlando. The current selection includes coffees from Brazil, Papua New Guinea, Colombia, Nicaragua, and a decaffeinated Colombian coffee, giving customers a variety of origins and flavor profiles to explore.
The menu features a mix of classic espresso drinks and creative house specialties. Options include the OB Julep, an iced oat milk latte with mint, lavender, honey, and orange bitters; The Purp, made with honey, mocha, and orange bitters; and Cold Brew Lemonade, combining house-made lemonade with cold brew. Seasonal offerings have included the Strawberry Milk Latte, Orange Groove, and Chantilly Cake Latte.
The coffee program combines locally roasted beans with several brewing methods, allowing customers to experience the coffee in different ways. Brewing options include Chemex, French Press, 18-hour cold brew, and nitro cold brew. The shop also focuses on creating distinctive blends and specialty lattes, while providing a space suited both to working and relaxing, including an outdoor patio.
